Luis Pineiro, MD

Dr. Pineiro is Director of the Blood and Marrow Transplant Program and Marrow Processing Laboratory at Baylor University Medical Center, part of Baylor Scott & White Health. He attended medical school at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine.  He then completed internal medicine training at The Veterans Administration Medical Center in Puerto Rico and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. 

Dr. Pineiro specializes in blood and marrow transplantation. He is interested in the treatment of hematological malignancies and stem cell transplants. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Pineiro is also fluent in Spanish.
