Fellows will be expected to participate in 10 organ procurements
Fellows will also be required to observe/participate in 5 LVAD implats and 3 transplants
Fellows will be expected to have at least 2 abstracts and 1 manuscript during their year-long training, including a quality improvement project

How to apply
Our program participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) and uses the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) to electronically accept fellowship applications, letters of recommendations, dean’s letters, transcripts and other credentials directly from the applicant's medical school.
Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all application materials are completed and properly submitted through ERAS. The Fellowship Selection Committee will review all completed applications and select candidates for interviews. Interviews will be arranged by invitation only.
Application requirements
Applicants must have completed at least three years of internal medicine residency and three years of cardiology fellowship training.
In order to be considered for the program, applicants must submit the following materials:
- Personal statement
- CV
- ECFMG certificate (if applicable)
- USMLE and/or COMLEX scores
- Three letters of recommendation (one must be from your program director)
At this time, we are only sponsoring a J1 visa for those who require a visa.
Interviews generally take place in September and October.
