Biography
Cindy D. Marshall, MD, is a psychiatrist and joined Baylor Scott & White Cognitive Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry in 2011. She also serves as the medical director of the Baylor Neuroscience Center’s AT&T Memory Center. Dr. Marshall has a special interest in treatment of the memory, mood and behavioral problems associated with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Dr. Marshall earned her medical degree from the University of Alabama Birmingham and completed a four-year psychiatry residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and geriatric psychiatry fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Marshall received the Amy Osler Spirit of Education Leadership Award from AWARE, an organization dedicated to fighting Alzheimer's since 1989. Dr. Marshall was recognized by D Magazine as a Best Doctor for 2024. Dr. Marshall has been named one of Texas Monthly's Texas Super Doctors for the past 15 years earning her a place on Texas Monthly's Legacy list. Dr. Cindy Marshall has won the American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry Jeanne Jackson-Siegel Clinician of the Year Award for 2024 for demonstrating a profound commitment to the field of clinical geriatric psychiatry by providing, promoting and ensuring access to quality mental health care for older adults.
