Biography
Dr. Cohen has been treating patients in Central Texas since 2009. Prior to arriving in Lakeway, he served as the chief of gastroenterology at St. David’s NAMC. Dr. Cohen treats all diseases of the organs of digestion, including the esophagus, stomach, intestines, colon, pancreas, liver and bile ducts. He is also fully committed to the screening and prevention of colon cancer. He performs all endoscopic procedures, such as EGD, colonoscopy and advanced endoscopy, including ERCP and EUS. He is married to Karen Cohen, MD, a radiation oncologist, and they have four kids. Dr. Cohen has been recognized as a Top Doc 2024, 2025, and 2026 by Austin Monthly Magazine. Winners are nominated by their peers as among the best in their region/nation in their medical speciality. Dr. Cohen has been treating patients in Central Texas since 2009.
