Biography
Dr. Rahimi is a board-certified Gastroenterologist with additional training in advanced therapeutic endoscopy. He completed a Gastroenterology fellowship at McGovern Medical School and MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. He then finished an Advanced Endoscopy fellowship at UT Health Science Center in Houston. Dr. Rahimi specializes in gastrointestinal disorders, including diseases of the pancreas and liver. He has special interest in digestive diseases, cancer care and screenings, endoscopic ultrasound, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, upper endoscopy, enteroscopy and colonoscopy. Dr. Rahimi has been recognized as a Top Doc 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 by Austin Monthly Magazine. Winners are nominated by their peers as among the best in their region/nation in their medical specialty.
