Helen Hashemi, MD

Dr. Hashemi is a board-certified cardiologist who specializes in acute and chronic cardiac issues, including coronary disease, pericardial problems, arrhythmias, valvular disease and cardiomyopathy. She also has extensive training in advanced cardiovascular imaging. Dr. Hashemi’s professional interests include women's cardiovascular health and improving care for women and the elderly. She is passionate about preventive cardiology and helps patients focus on diet, lifestyle and risk factor modification. Some of her additional areas of expertise include peripheral vascular disease, lymphedema, fibromuscular dysplasia, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, diabetes and obesity.

When her busy schedule permits, Dr. Hashemi enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and working out at the gym.
