Dr. Shelton grew up in Dallas and attended medical school in Houston at Baylor College of Medicine. He then completed an Internal Medicine residency at UT Southwestern Medical School and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Baylor University Medical Center, part of Baylor Scott & White Health. Dr. Shelton is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Gastroenterology and in Internal Medicine.
