Lauren Edwards Fournier, MD

Dr. Lauren Fournier is a board-certified neurologist specializing in vascular neurology. Her professional interests include quality stroke care and telestroke.

As Stroke Director for Baylor Scott & White Health in Temple, Dr. Fournier devotes her clinical time to acute and inpatient stroke care. She is passionate about developing and implementing quality processes for stroke patient care in the hospital and beyond, with participation in regional and state-wide quality improvement projects. Dr. Fournier is also actively involved in teaching and mentoring residents and medical students. She also works as a tele-neurologist in the Baylor Scott & White System.


She is a proud member of the American Heart Association, the American Academy of Neurology, the Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology, the Texas Medical Association and the Bell County Medical Society.

Outside of work, Dr. Fournier enjoys spending time with family, cooking, crafting and traveling.
