Biography
Lydia Sutherlun obtained a Bachelor's degree from Drury University in Missouri, then returned to her home state, Oklahoma, for medical school. The residency match brought her to the great state of Texas. After completing her residency in Temple, Dr. Sutherlun joined the Scott & White hospitalist division as a staff physician. She has had the honor of caring for hospitalized patients in central Texas for over a decade. In 2023, she was appointed division director of inpatient medicine. She is privileged to continue to serve patients, as well as her colleagues, in a new way. Dr. Sutherlun's area of expertise is medical conditions requiring hospitalization.
