Margi Patel, MD

Dr. Patel is a board-certified neurologist and has received an additional two-year fellowship training in movement disorders from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. She has specific interests in managing patients with Parkinson’s disease, tremor and dystonia, among other movement disorders. Dr. Patel has published numerous research articles and book chapters, presented posters at various conferences, and has also been awarded clinical and research grants in her specialty. Over the years, she has participated in the clinical education of medical students and residents while serving as a chief resident and fellow, as well as a member of the dean’s committee and house staff council at her training institutes.

Outside of work, Dr. Patel enjoys hiking, playing tennis and dancing. You might also catch her learning a new language on Duolingo.
