Biography
Mohammad Ashfaq, MD is a transplant hepatologist who specializes in patients with liver disease before and after transplant. He has a special interest in the management of viral hepatitis, bacterial peritonitis, non alcoholic fatty liver disease, cholangiocarcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma and liver transplantation in patients with Porto pulmonary hypertension. Dr. Ashfaq was fellowship trained in transplant hepatology at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas.
