Biography
Dr. Suzie Lee is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Texas A&M College of Medicine at Texas A&M Health Science Center, Dallas. She is a multi-organ transplant surgeon, performing liver, kidney and pancreas transplants. Her professional interests include biliary disease and complex gastrointestinal issues of the pancreas and liver. As an accomplished hepatopancreatic biliary surgeon, she provides patients with innovative treatment and surgical options for liver, pancreas and bile duct cancer. After earning her medical degree from University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, she completed her residency in general surgery at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. She went on to complete a fellowship in abdominal transplant surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Before pursuing medicine, Dr. Lee served in the Peace Corps in Mali, West Africa and worked as a book publicist in New York. Dr. Lee is active in the International Hepato-Pancreato Biliary Association and the American Society of Transplant Surgeons. When she is not operating, Dr. Lee enjoys exploring Texas and experiencing new adventures with her husband and children.
