Sivakumar Sudhakaran, MD

Dr. Sivakumar Sudhakaran completed internal medicine residency and general cardiovascular disease training at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He had the privilege of serving as both Chief Internal Medicine Resident and Chief Cardiovascular Disease Fellow, in addition to winning multiple teaching awards in residency and fellowship. After finishing general cardiology training, he completed two years of procedural training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, in interventional cardiology and structural heart disease.


His clinical interest lies in evidence-based approaches to applying percutaneous therapies for patients with complex coronary and valvular heart disease. Most importantly, he recognizes the honor and privilege in caring for his patients and prides himself on a patient-focused approach to care. He looks forward to integrating evolving science and innovation within cardiology to provide quality medical treatment and continually improve the patient experience.

Outside of work, Dr. Sudhakaran enjoys spending time with his family and friends, professional sports, golf, movies, live music, and traveling.
