Valentina S Joseph, MD

Dr. Joseph is a board-certified neurologist with special training in sleep medicine and clinical neurophysiology-epilepsy. She primarily focuses on the comprehensive management of patients with refractory epilepsy and various sleep disorders. She also has several years of clinical experience working as a general neurologist in Sioux Falls, SD.

Dr. Joseph has specific interests in taking care of patients with headaches, stroke, dizziness and dementia. She has a strong passion for teaching medical students and residents and has worked as the clerkship director and clinical associate professor of neurology at the University of South Dakota.

Dr. Joseph is happily married to her husband, who is a pulmonary and critical care physician. They are blessed with two beautiful children, a daughter and a son. She enjoys listening to music, singing, dancing, watching movies, cooking and traveling.
