Whitney S. Prince, MD, FCCP, FACP

Dr. Prince is a board-certified pulmonary and critical care physician who has focused her practice on the care of critically ill patients. Throughout her professional career, she has worked closely with CHEST (the American College of Chest Physicians) and teaches at multiple national courses annually with an emphasis on critical care ultrasound. She has been designated a CHEST Distinguished Educator each year since the award was established in 2017 for her ultrasound teaching efforts. Dr. Prince has also been recognized as a Texas Monthly Rising Star in Critical Care Medicine in 2016-2018 and Texas Monthly Super Doctor in Critical Care Medicine 2020-2023.


Dr. Prince's areas of expertise include sepsis, cardiopulmonary life support, respiratory failure and ventilator management, management of multiorgan failure, pulmonary embolism response team, management of acute stroke and nontraumatic intracranial hemorrhage, and post-operative management of neurosurgical and cardiovascular surgery patients.
