Biography
Dr. Chen is board-certified in internal medicine and a fellow of the American College of Physicians. Joining the faculty in 2015, Dr. Chen has been passionate about all aspects of medicine, particularly in infectious disease, addiction medicine, and point-of-care ultrasound. A lifelong student and always asking the “why” question, Dr. Chen strives to practice evidence-based, patient-centered care. He is the assistant medical director for the hospitalist group and chairs several committees. As one of the associate program directors for the internal medicine residency, he hopes to share his passion for medicine with learners and help them find their places in the world.
