  • Under 18 years of age
  • Currently experiencing difficulty speaking, numbness, or weakness
  • Fever
  • Sudden weight loss
  • Persistent changes in vision
  • Currently pregnant
  • Headaches made significantly worse by standing up or laying flat
  • A history of HIV
  • Cancer diagnosis with active treatment in the last 5 years
  • Currently under the care of a BSW neurologist or headache specialist for headaches within the past 12 months

Migraine and headache treatment

Your headache team will work with you to develop a care plan that addresses your headache or migraine type. With access to treatments, your provider will focus not just on your symptoms but also on the root cause of your headaches.

Tools to help you track your progress

Once your treatment begins, you can use treatment efficacy and episode trackers to log headaches, medication usage and symptom trends, so you and your provider can help your treatment plan work more effectively.
