You deserve the best for you and your baby
The birth of your baby is one of the most memorable moments of your life, and your labor and delivery experience should be as unique as you and your new bundle of joy.
Whether you’re having your first baby or your fifth, you’ll find personalized, supportive care at all labor and delivery hospitals at Baylor Scott & White.
The birthing center physicians, midwives, nurses and staff at our hospitals take a family-centered approach to each birth. They partner with you to help you achieve your birth goals and have the experience you wish for.
Pregnancy comes with a lot of questions. Know what to expect when you're expecting.
Labor and delivery services tailored to you and your baby
Whichever hospital you choose, you’ll receive compassionate, high-quality care that emphasizes the safety of you and your baby. Although the exact services may vary based on your chosen location, you can be assured your care will focus on your best interests, your baby and your family.
Family-centered delivery suites
Your entire family deserves to participate in the arrival of its newest member. Spacious labor and delivery rooms feature comfortable furnishings and hotel-style amenities, allowing partners or other family members to stay with you throughout your labor and delivery.
We also encourage rooming-in, which means you are welcome to keep your baby in your room for as long as you’d like. Not only does this allow you to bond with your baby, but it can also help you build confidence before you take your baby home. Your baby can move to our well-monitored nurseries if you need extra rest during your stay.
In some locations, you and your partner can also enjoy a celebration dinner in the hospital or take it home after your baby is born. This is our way of showing appreciation for choosing us to participate in this joyous occasion. Ask your healthcare team if this is available for you.
